The Challenge
Star Lumber's customers send purchase orders in every format imaginable. Handwritten notes from job sites. PDFs exported from estimating software. Emails with specs scattered across the body and attachments.
Customer service reps spent hours each day translating these documents into structured orders. The work required deep product knowledge and careful attention to detail. A misread dimension on a truss order could delay an entire framing schedule.
